Pikant designed a set of small catalogues for the special exhibition 〈Light, Resonance, Power: Metal Awakens the Senses〉 at the National Cheongju Museum.The three catalogues each focus on a representative artifact made of gold, bronze, and iron: the Gold Crown from Seobongchong Tomb, the Bronze Bell from Uncheon-dong, and the Sain Sword. The pages are generously composed with close-up photographs and detailed illustrations, allowing readers to engage with each object slowly and attentively, as if contemplating it in person.Each catalogue was assigned a color that reflects the material qualities of the artifact’s raw metal, conveying the diverse textures and characteristics of metal.
국립청주박물관의 특별전 〈빛·울림·힘-금속, 감각을 깨우다〉 전시를 위한 소도록 세트를 디자인하였습니다.소도록 3권은 각각 금, 청동, 철로 만들어진 대표적인 유물인 서봉총 금관, 운천동 동종, 사인검을 담고 있습니다. 하나의 유물을 앞에 두고 찬찬히 감상하듯 읽을 수 있도록 본문에는 다양한 클로즈업 사진과 세밀한 일러스트레이션을 여유 있게 배치하였습니다. 각 소도록에는 유물의 원재료와 어울리는 색상을 각각 부여하여 금속의 다양한 재질을 전달하고자 하였습니다.
