The permanent exhibition at National Cheongju Museum highlights the role of metal in human life from prehistoric times to the present. Pikant created an activity booklet and popup card set, Time-Traveling Cultural Heritage Explorers, to encourage visitors to experience the exhibition in a more interactive way.
국립청주박물관 상설전은 선사시대부터 우리의 삶에 함께한 금속을 시대에 흐름에 맞추어 조명합니다. 피칸트는 상설전을 찾은 방문객이 전시를 더욱 몰입하여 체험할 수 있도록 활동지와 팝업카드 세트, ‘시간을 잇는 문화유산 탐험대’를 제작했습니다.
Popup Card
The popup cards feature scenes ranging from prehistoric hunting to airplanes, allowing visitors to assemble and learn how humans have used metal throughout history.
팝업카드는 석기시대의 사냥 장면부터 비행기에 이르기까지 시대별 장면을 직접 떼어 붙이며 완성하는 방식으로 디자인되었습니다. 관람객은 인류가 금속을 활용해 온 과정을 손으로 조립하고 만들어보며 자연스럽게 학습할 수 있습니다.
Activity Booklet
The activity booklets are divided into three themes — Stone, Bronze, and Iron — with colors and tab-like shapes inspired by each material to clearly distinguish the different eras.
활동지는 시대에 따라 돌, 청동, 철 세 가지 주제로 구분하였으며, 각 금속이 홀더 위로 손잡이처럼 드러나는 형태로 제작해 재미와 사용성을 더했습니다. 또한 금속의 특성을 연상시키는 색상을 각 면에 적용하여 시대별 주제를 직관적으로 구분할 수 있도록 하였습니다.
